Hello again…

A toothsome local pasta with sauteed rainbow chard, onions, and slow-roasted tomatoes.
Blowing the cobwebs off this blog after, well, quite a bit of time. Years. Like everyone else, so much has happened. We’ve all endured more than we ever thought possible–chances are, we’re still dealing with the aftermath of something. There was so much, right?
But the wonder of this thing called life is what happens when we keep putting one foot in front of the other, no matter how difficult that is. If we’re lucky and have the right guidance and tools, we recover, we heal, we learn to laugh again, to turn toward the happy.
And so, I hope this little blog post finds you with your face turned toward the happy. I hope it finds you thriving, or, at the very least, endeavoring to lean in that direction. I hope you’re laughing, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying delicious food. Because, as I’ve long maintained, everything is better with delicious food.
With that in mind, I thought it might be nice to revive this little word corner of mine and post some pics of what I’ve made from this season’s CSA bounty this far. Because delicious food, goodness, how it helps everything. ❤️
So. To catch both my readers up, I joined a CSA this year (Flocktown Farm, in New Jersey), and every Thursday, I swear, it feels like Christmas here. The produce is organic, mind-blowingly good, and delivered to my doorstep. I’m in HEAVEN. This week, butternut squash arrives! Trust and believe, my two good readers, there will be soup. Oh yes, there will be soup.
Commence the photo dump!
